Visiting Scientist - Humboldt Foundation Research Fellow

Prof. Dr. Ana Previšić is a visiting scientist at the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1357 Microplastics (host: Prof. Dr. Christian Laforsch), where she focuses on the impacts of microplastics on aquatic insects in a multiple-stressor scenario. She is a professor at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb. Her research focuses on the diversity, evolution, and ecology of aquatic insects, including their role in the bioaccumulation and transfer of contaminants such as pharmaceuticals and endocrine disruptors across ecosystem boundaries.
